Happy New Year people! So what is your resolution for this year? I can’t believe it has been a year since I made a list of my resolutions. Most of them…erm didn’t work out that well (Read: Failed), so I am really thinking as to whether I should even bother rewriting this new year resolutions. I do have a few things in my mind though. Maybe for a start I will just say,
- I wanna be a better person
- Work harder and be more ambitious.
Short and not simple…
As the first day of 2015 alights, it made me ponder upon the personal events that occurred in 2014, with hopes for a better new year. 2014 has come to an end, but there have been some very memorable events that I would cherish even if its 2044. I’ve had my ups and downs, but who hasn’t? I guess at the end of the day, it is these ups and downs that makes you who you are.
The top 6 Highlights of 2014 would be:
- My brother’s wedding.
- Christmas with my favorite people.
- The girls surprising me, on my birthday at midnight. ♥
- Cooking and photography date with the cousin.
- A brand new Charting Today site. The process involved a lot of work but I loved every single minute of it.
- Last but definitely the most significant would be the revamp of Maya Kitchenette.
Although I have been blogging for a couple of years, I have never gone that extra mile and I am grateful that I have friends like Tm and Hardi who are constantly motivating me. This past year was my most memorable year as a blogger. From a blog that started with only 2000 visitor in March, we hit a high of 27 k visitors in September. It was awesome and very satisfying to see the numbers continue to rise. Of course, this number is nothing compared to biggies of the food blogging world, but I am happy with the growth nonetheless. Comments and emails never failed to make me smile.
In this post, I am including 10 of the most popular posts on Maya Kitchenette. These Top 10 Recipes of 2014 are calculated according to the number of re-pins plus the top posts on the blog.
