Hello folks! Just as I said in my previous blog post, this month we are doing Christmas recipes. With the holidays season approaching, companies manufacturing alcohols must be raking in the moolah. I am making mocktails instead, thus they ain’t getting a single penny from me. *flips hair*
Cocktails often get a lot of attention during parties but not everyone can consume alcohol, thus mocktails are perfect. Suitable for every party and everyone too. I mean even the children could do with a fancy drink once in a while, right?
Today I am sharing 3 easy mocktail recipes that will make you forget the alcohol. 😉
Â
First up, Virgin Mojito. It is actually a traditional Cuban cocktail made with rum. This is the non-alcoholic version. It is is minty, fresh and so good! I love to rim the glasses with some salt as the taste of the salt against the lime flavored mocktail really tickle your taste buds!
Next on the list is this Non-Alcoholic Mimosa. It is citrusy, bubbly, refreshing and yet so simple to put together. You can either use a lime soda or a ginger beer. Perfect for those who are avoiding alcohol or for guests who tend to talk too much nonsense when they are drunk. *Grins*
Finally, the Shirley Temple is one of the popular non-alcoholic drinks out there. I find it appealing both visually as well as in flavor. Best of all, it is incredibly easy to prepare at home. A basic Shirley Temple Mocktail uses only two ingredients that are grenadine and ginger beer. Nevertheless, you can use lime soda too if that’s what you prefer. Of course you have to end it with a cherry on the top!
These mocktails are flavorful, super easy and accommodating whether your guest is 5 or 50 years old. So, do give these 3 easy mocktails recipe a shot during one of your parties. To be frank, I do not need a party to enjoy sipping from these glasses of colorful goodness. I am game to chill and relax with a glass (I really meant glasses here) of this anytime of the day.
Which one of these drinks actually caught your fancy? I love them all but if I have to choose one of them, then it is definitely the virgin mojito!! It tastes divine and I literally wanna swim in that!!
