Insalata Caprese Recipe

  • 2 large Heirloom/Roma tomatoes sliced into thick ¼-inch slices
  • 150g fresh mozzarella sliced into thick ¼-inch slices
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Basil leaves
  1. Combine olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Arrange tomato and mozzarella on a plate. Top with basil leaves and drizzle the balsamic dressing.
