Delicious Melt In Your Mouth Butter Cookies that are simple to make.
  • 200g salted butter
  • 60g icing sugar, sifted
  • 150g plain flour
  • 50g corn flour
  • ¼ tsp vanilla essence
  1. Preheat oven to 160 degree celsius.
  2. Cream butter and icing sugar till pale and fluffy.
  3. Mix in vanilla.
  4. Add in sifted plain flour and cornflour.
  5. Fold the ingredients together with a spatula until it is well incorporated. Do not over mix.
  6. Put the dough into a piping bag with 1M/star tip nozzle.
  7. Pipe the cookies onto a baking tray. Leave a small gap between the cookies as they will expand a little during baking.
  8. Top with sprinkles if desired.
  9. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until the cookies turn light golden brown.
  10. Leave it to cool on a cooling rack before storing them in air-tight container.
