How To Cook Quinoa

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • 2 cup water or stock
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (if the stock does not have enough seasoning)
Instructions
  1. Measure 1 cup of quinoa and place it into a pot.
  2. Rinse thoroughly with water.
  3. Drain.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan/pot and toast quinoa for 5 minutes(optional).
  5. Add water/stock and bring to a boil:
  6. Season with salt and cook the quinoa covered for 15 minutes.
  7. Once done, remove the pot from the flame and let it stand for 2 minutes.
  8. Fluff and serve.
