Four Ingredients Sweet Potato Dessert

  • 650 gm Sweet Potato, peeled and cut into bite-size chunks
  • 2 litres of Water
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of white sugar or rock sugar (adjust according to taste)
  • 3 Pandan (Screwpine) Leaves, tied into knots
  1. Bring water in a pot to boil.
  2. Once the water boils, add the sweet potato and pandan leaf.
  3. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and add in both the sugar and cook till the sweet potatoes are tender, for about another 10 minutes.
  4. Serve hot or cold.
