Easy Butter Rice

- 3 tbsp salted butter
- 1 cup basmati rice, washed and drained (if you have time, you can soak it for 30-60 minutes. This is optional though)
- Salt to taste
- Mixed spice (1 small cinnamon, 1-star anise, 2 cardamom, and 2 cloves)
- Melt butter in the rice cooker and toss in mixed herbs and saute for 1 minute.
- Add 1.5 cups of water to the melted butter and let it boil.
- Add basmati rice and season with salt.
- Cook as per normal.
