Mango Panna Cotta

Ingredients
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
Topping
  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 1 tbsp sugar (if your mangoes aren't sweet enough)
Instructions
For The Panna Cotta
  1. In a bowl, add the 3 tbsp of water and gelatine. Microwave till dissolved.
  2. Alternatively, you can melt the gelatine + water in a small saucepan, over low heat too.
  3. Keep the gelatine mixture aside.
  4. In a saucepan, add cream, milk, and sugar.
  5. Cook till this mixture almost reached a simmer. Do not boil.
  6. Add the gelatine and cook this for another minute.
  7. Take off from the fire.
  8. Pour into little cups or any other containers you prefer.
  9. Once cool, cover and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
For the mango
  1. You can just cut up the mango into cubes and top them on the chilled panna cotta
  2. Alternatively, In a food processor, puree 1 of the mango with some sugar.
  3. Cut the other mango into chunks.
  4. Top the panna cotta with the mango chunks and mango coulis.
