Mango Panna Cotta

Serves: 6
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
- 2 ripe mangoes
- 1 tbsp sugar (if your mangoes aren't sweet enough)
- In a bowl, add the 3 tbsp of water and gelatine. Microwave till dissolved.
- Alternatively, you can melt the gelatine + water in a small saucepan, over low heat too.
- Keep the gelatine mixture aside.
- In a saucepan, add cream, milk, and sugar.
- Cook till this mixture almost reached a simmer. Do not boil.
- Add the gelatine and cook this for another minute.
- Take off from the fire.
- Pour into little cups or any other containers you prefer.
- Once cool, cover and chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- You can just cut up the mango into cubes and top them on the chilled panna cotta
- Alternatively, In a food processor, puree 1 of the mango with some sugar.
- Cut the other mango into chunks.
- Top the panna cotta with the mango chunks and mango coulis.
