Asian Prawn Pasta

- 200g spaghetti
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 400g peeled and deveined prawns
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped/grated
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 cup sliced spring onion
- 2 cm ginger, sliced
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2-3 green bird's eye chili (Use 2 regular chili for a less spicy version)
- Spring onion, sliced
- 1 red chili, sliced
- Cook the spaghetti n a large pot of boiling salted water until just al dente.
- Keep aside ½ cup of the pasta cooking water.
- In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil.
- Saute garlic for 20 seconds and add the blended ingredients.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add prawns.
- Season with salt and chili flakes.
- Mix in spaghetti and the pasta water.
- Add oyster sauce and soy sauce and cook for a few minutes till the liquid is absorbed.
- Garnish with spring onion and red chili
