Roasted Asparagus in Balsamic Butter vinaigrette

- 1 large bunch of asparagus, approximately 500 grams
- 3 cloves of garlic - quartered
- 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoon of butter
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp brown sugar/honey
- ¼ tsp dried mixed herbs
- Sea salt and freshly grounded black pepper to taste
- More parmesan for sprinkinling
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Wash and cut the ends off the asparagus.
- Toss the asparagus with all the other ingredients.
- Lay flat on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, flip halfway through.
- Pull the asparagus out of the oven and sprinkle more Parmesan.
